Bad Hotel For Minorities!!!!!
I travel frequently for business to Louisville and on this occasion I could not find a hotel downtown Louisville, so my office booked this hotel. When I arrived to check-in, I was made to wait while the attendant finished his call. He saw I was standing there and did have the courtesy to say I will be with you shortly. We he did get off the phone, he talked with his assistant before he checked me in. In general this guy was rude throughout the process.
Then when I dialed for room service, no one picked up. So I called the front desk. Again, the same person who checked me in, told me to dial room service in a rude manner. I called room service several times with no success. Finally I just went out and grabbed something.
When I checked out there was another person at the front desk, just as unfriendly as the previous day.
This was the most unpleasant experience I have had at a major hotel chain in sometime. I have advised my company not to use this hotel location again. If the hotel wants to treat employees of my company in this manner, they don’t deserve our business.
Oh, I almost forgot, I am a minority. I wonder if that had anything to do with the way I was treated. So much for southern hospitality!!!!!
