In addition to the comfortable recliner and large work desk, the oversized studio suites feature a kitchen that allows you to prepare meals at your convenience. As a guest of Extended Stay America, you receive complementary movie channels, free local phone calls, voice-mail, and a two-line phone with a computer dataport. Guests also have access to a 24-hour, coin-operated laundry facility. Weekly housekeeping ensures that you have fresh linens throughout your stay. Pet Policy- One pet per room is allowed. A $25 USD cleaning fee will be charged per night, not to exceed $150 USD. This charge will be applied at check-in. Extended Stay Hotels now offers complimentary high speed Internet.

Great service, great price, pet friendly

My husband and I, and our 2 large breed dogs made this extended stay America hotel our home for 4 months, while we were working in Chicago. It is difficult to find a hotel that allows pets, let alone 2 large dogs, but ESA had no problem with it, for a minimal pet deposit. The staff was more than accomodating, and extremely helpful. As stated in previous posts, the hotel did have a smoke smell to it, but you'll have that when it is a combined smoking/non-smoking hotel. It wasn't unbearable. The one downfall was the expensive coin-op laundry facility, at $1.50 per load. But that's coin-op for ya. If we make it to Chicago again, we will definitely stay again!

Would not stay here again!!!

This is located near midway airport and Tammy at the front desk was nice. The room is not much bigger than a closet and with the kitchenette I had one spoon, one fork a butter knife and a can opener. The bed was simular to a cement floor, (my aching back).The area is a bit scary and the other guest were not much better then the area. I did not feel safe the front door was kept open by a door stop all night. The shower was like running in circles to get wet and the toilet acted like a shower when you flush (step way back). Cleaning was once a week and you had to get clean towel at the front desk every other day. I left this place prior to my scheduled leave couldnt take the atmosphere.

you get what you pay for

the room was serviceable. No daily maid service, one bar of soap, no shampoo, and the non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. There were dishes but no detergent. The staff was helpful in locating a take-out place.
