Fantastc !! Don't miss it if in the area !!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/13/09
New ownership took over a while back and did a total interior renovation, in 2006 I believe. The original Inn had a Victorian decor, now it is very upscale urban!!! VERY NICE!! The Granite restaurant and bar is excellent. The best in town in my estimation. The new owners were formally with Hyatt or Hilton and it shows. It is a well run and maintained hotel, with a great staff !! My wife & I are hooked.

What a great take
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/28/08
Every year for the last 17 years we go to a one day Bible conference in Concord. I found this place last year and have now stayed there 2 years in a row. This year we took some friends with us and next year we will take more with us. We enjoy traveling a good restaurants and the restaurant here is great. The quality is outstanding and the presentation is wonderful. The rooms for comfort and appearance are delightful to stay in. We look forward to our next stay.

Incompetent Service
By Erica, 2/7/08
It's been newly renovated and the website makes the hotel look wonderful. But the service is really poor. The front desk staff don't even know how to transfer a phone call up to the room. I was celebrating a birthday and simply wanted a birthday cake delivered from a nearby cake shop. They flat out refused to help. I've stayed at the Holiday Inn and COncord Inn - yes they are not really three stars but the service is way better.

Great Hotel!
By j, 12/6/07
My stay at this inn was wonderful. The rooms are very modern and updated. The restaurant inside was excellent. I ordered the filet which was cooked perfectly. They also have a wonderful wine list. The staff was helpful. Their exercise room is well equipped. There is plenty of parking, and the facade of the inn itself is quite beautiful. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely go back.

Great experience, would love to go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/29/07
Hard to believe you can find a four star hotel in Concord NH...but The Centennial is that and maybe even more so...Great combination of historic architecture with contemporary services, amenities...wonderful bed, plasma TV, bathrooms...extremely well done. It is a brand new Hotel. Restaurant is wonderful as well. Very busy so make sure you make a reservation. Great price value. Overall, 4 -5 stars.

Re-model
By Laura, 4/6/07
The Centennial Inn has just been refurbished and it is excellent - the rooms look fantastic and the menu is spectacular. This now, boutique hotel has both sophistication and creativity in its rooms and dinning experience. Highly recommended!

Adams family house
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/17/06
Inn was under reconstruction, shared inn with 4 other guests & a bat. Room was OK but bed linen was suspect. Breakfast was help yourself from what was left. Concord closes at 5.00 & not a lot happening apart from street racers & cars beeping behind any tourists. Only reason for going there was to see planatarium that was hidden away. Would not stop here again. The plans for the new look inn are too drastically modernist for such a grand looking building. Only 4 cars in the massive carpark so why do people park right next to you that you can't open your door?

A Dream
By LisaW, 10/13/05
My husband and I got married at the Centennial Inn April of this year. We had our first date in their dining room. We have loved this inn since our first visit. The Innkeeper was superb!! He organized the whole wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing. All of the staff who worked the night of our wedding were incredible. It was a truly special day, made more special by the efforts of the staff at Centennial. We stay there overnight when we have a special occasion to celebrate, despite the fact that we live in the same city. We even stay when they have their Valetine's Day specials. We have always had a wonderful experience at Centennial from the rooms to our dining experiences. The rooms are always clean, the staff are always friendly and accomodating. One nice touch, now that they have a new chef, is that he comes out during the meal to check and see if everything is to our liking. He did that at our wedding dinner as well. We feel that is a really lovely gesture. Centennial Inn is a truly romantic inn. We cannot say enough about how wonderful it is. My husband and I would strongly recommend this inn to anyone traveling in this area or anyone who wishes to celebrate something special.

We've gone for the last time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/21/05
We have been continuing to try the Dining Room, now called the Dark Horse Dining Room, previously the Franklin Pierce Dining Room, since the building was renovated several years ago. I went on Saturday night with my husband for dinner about 7:45. There was only 1 waitstaff person in the whole dining room and the night auditor, Glen, was trying to help her. I would give him credit, but not the waitress. We waited about 15 minutes before she even came to the table to ask for our wine order. The salads were delivered another 15 minutes later, no soup, as ordered, no rolls or bread. The entrees were very good, a real improvement in quality over the last visit. We did not order desserts. Total visit was almost 2 hrs for our meal. 9-20-05 I went to lunch with 3 other companions. Reservations were made & the table was ready. There was no one in the dining room when we arrived, and thereafter about 3 other parties came in during the lunch hr. Several items on the menu were not available. One grilled sandwich was completed black & burned-reordered. Another sandwich did not come on the foccacia nor incl the borsoin cheese,as described-no excuse given. The desserts were served on the cardboard on which the were rec'd from the bakery. Time for lunch: 1 hr 35 minutes

Don't get the room near the ice maker
By John, 7/28/05
I didn't find anything special about the place. In fact it was inferior to the cheap massive chain hotels. I did have two good meals in their restaurant. And one dinner in which LongJohn Silver could have beat. And it was $50.00 There were construction crews staying while I was there. They stayed up till midnight and were up filling their massive ice chests at five in the morning. The breakfast was not good. One morning they where out of coffee. Another morning they where out of milk. Most everything in my room was broken. Even the toilet paper dispenser was broke. I will not go back.
