Island Park Village Resort, Island Park

Not the place to stay if you are one of color. Very unfriendly staff. Curt answers and disdainful looks. Rooms not clean at all and grounds were a mess.

I used to visit here every year as a child and have been going to Island Park for two to three weeks a year as an adult and have really seen a decline in customer service and atmosphere over the past five years. It seams that they have turned this once peaceful stop into a trip that you question if you should go back the next year. I have stopped staying here and have ventured out to other establishments in the area due to the drastic changes from this resort. Go back to the idea that your there because I spend my money to visit or more people will sell there time shares too (if they can find some one to buy it ) I gave mine away just to finally be rid of it.

The resort was cozy, the rooms were clean a bit small and only had a shower - no baths here. The bed wasn't comfortable. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool. All in all not bad for the price.

The Island Park Village Resort is a wonderful spot. It is on the edge of a golf course and Idaho is so beautiful. The rooms are nice and are surrounded by greenery.

Very nice resort. Good restaurants nearby. Beautiful location just a short drive from Yellowstone National Park. Many other attractions are also close by. Buildings and grounds are well maintained. Nice club house with indoor pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a nice place to get away from the crowds in the park and in West Yellowstone. We are going back in Aug. 2005 and plan to make this a yearly vacation destination.
