Roughrider Campground, Minot

I have been going to this campground for 6 years now and i can say i will never go back unless new owners take over. I should have gotten a clue when you first walk in and in big red letters it states "no refunds." In the 2 weeks that we stayed there we had ice cold showers 3 of thoes days because the owner turned off the water heater. I was told that someone had taken a 40 miin. shower and he wanted to prevent this from happenning again.Well my thinking is that this person is gone and the rest of the campers have to pay for their sins. Also the washrooms are closed for 2 hours of cleaning, now this i dont mind but when he shuts off the water to the campersites how are we to flush our washrooms? And the my biggest problem is that when his water tanks were low he would pump in swamp water so you smelled even worse after a shower than before you got in. I can over look the the small things like. When i paid a flat rate then on top of that i had to pay extra for each person that stayed at our campsite and yes that includes each child. If we had a pet i would have to pay extra for it as well. Or the fact that when i did do laundry the water was cut off to fill up the water tanks. Now im just thinking that when you pay for full service you kinda expect full service and not just when its convienant to the owner. These are just a few things of what went wrong....please think twice before staying there. Sincerly.....really unhappy
