Sportman's Cove Lodge, Ocean Shores

obviously the management has no idea how to run an rv park! the dumpsters were a mess of molding trash, dog feces everywhere, the parking lot was a muddy mess and some weird guy was constantly talkin to himself! i wasnt sure if he was on something or should have been in a mental hospital! for what management charges, you would think someone somewhere would invest some money in park improvements if they ever wat to stay in buisness! that or the health department should seriously look into shutting them down!!!

Management was helpful, I think it was because the actual rv park was lacking in so many ways. Bathrooms were horrible!!!!! Don't move your tow vehicle because they may sell your parking spot to a tent camper while your gone. I don't think I will return. This is exactly why I have a private membership for camping.

It's only June and we've visited 4 times already this year and are planning another trip in a few days. We have always been accomodated, and feel very welcome every time we go. He always makes room for us, and has squeezed us in twice now at the last minute. Walk to the beach, and ocean front fine dining right across the street. Patrick and Lisa Kirkland WA 98034

This was our maiden voyage in our new motorhome and it was perfect. Right on the beach, the owner, Gordon was super helpful and extremely nice. Easy access, transportation to town if needed. We will definately be back. Gordon is Awesome!!!

I liked everything about it. The location is perfect and Gordon and his wife are the kindest people. There are even two boys that help out there and are the best ever. They work very hard and are the nicest ever. Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon.

We've been to this RV campsite at least 5 or more times. i like this quite spot near the water and shops. the guy who runs it is so very helpful, we had a hard time with backing up into our spot and he totally helped us in every way . you can tell he and his very nice wife enjoy what their doing. we plan on this place as our peace of HEAVEN at the shores, even in the winter on my birthday Jan . 1st. very nice environment. Seattle folk here.

Since the new management took over in the spring of 2007 this great little spot has made vast improvements. We had been there the summer of 2006 before the new couple took over and I must admit, it was not very well taken care of. But, since they have been there they have made water, power and site improvements. They are also working on the public restroom areas and office area. We love going there because it's a short walk to the beach and a short walk to the shops and restaurant in Ocean shores. It also has easy access for Motor homes or trailers. When it's not busy they try to space the campers out so the area is not crowded. The priced are great. As far as service it's one of the best places we have camped. Gordon is very knowledgeable about anything to do with motor homes and trailers and helped us with questions more than a few times. Ever day you can see him working hard to make it a better and cleaner camping area. We plan to go back as often as time will allow.

I have been at this place a few times over the years. Last summer it went under new management & has become much nicer. It is cleaner and better run. The management is constantly improving things such new wiring for the permanent sites and getting rid of the drug users. I would like to go back again. The location is great. The Chamber of Commerce gives this place a good recommendation.

Perfect sites if your tow rig is a 4X4 and your RV is a boat. It is a flooded mudpit. Dont leave anything outside unattended. The full time residents might steal it to buy crack. It is close to the Beach.
