Would go again..During "non-holiday" time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/08
This is a overall good campground with a good host (Ivy). I stayed on the upper portion of the campground, they have what I consider two portions. One on a hillside facing the lake and the other on the west side of her home. I think the upper is approximately 8 acres (+/- 2) and the same for the hillside. The campground itself was well groomed. Ivy, the host, is pleasant to speak with and will (it seems) try to accomodate your needs. LIKES - hot shower available 10 mins for a buck, but I would wear flip-flops during the shower. Dislikes - only one restroom (one for each gender) on upper portion. There were 2-3 people commonly waiting their turn, for shower, only one for each gender also, and for the rest-room. They could have been cleaned more often with that many people during a holiday. I'm sure they have fixed the men's door handle by now also. I say (in the title) I would go again during non-holiday because it was over crowded. Cars parking in the field next to tents made it look and feel clustered. Other dislike, no lake access for boating but Mossyrock launch is just a few minutes away. Hope this is helpfull....
