Cozy Corner Campground, Richmond

The campground only has shade trees for its seasonal sites. The wait staff was friendly enough but not educated on any specials we pointed out to her. Food was good. The bathrooms were ok. Mens bathroom always had a plugged toliet and the women showers were slow to a trickle. Our problem was in the value. I was told $25 a night and a $25 deposit, which I assumed would go toward our stay. It was not. The total for us for 2 night was $79.40. A little pricey for an average campground. The pool is also not included there is a charge every time you want to swim. There is no shore to swim either. We arrived Friday night late (8pm) and when we asked if we could just hang out till 2pm on Sunday we were told yes at (12:15) and then told our electric would be shut off at 12:30. Kind of sucky since we got there so late on Friday. Our power was shut off and we left at 12:45pm. We will not be back due to the over pricing of everything and the not so hot service. The one good thing was lots of kids and older people very quiet campground good for families, however you will over pay for everything!!!

We really enjoyed this campground, the people were generally nice,the area was good, even though it was next to a road we didnt mind it at all. The only thing that we were totally frustrated with, was that the public bathrooms that were nearest to us were no gross and dirty. We have a pop up camper and no bathroom or shower, so we depend on the campgrounds to have a decent place for us,you would think that you pay what you do, a decent clean shower isnt too much to ask. Other then that we enjoyed our stay.

The thing I like best about cozy corners is the bar because of the pool, food, location in campground, nice patio. The other things I like are the lake access, the people, the FUN!!!!, location, and the cleanliness of the campground. The things that need improvment are more space, more people, and more stuff pleaze!!!
