Cove Camping Area, Conway

This family campground is the only business on a 5 mile long beautiful lake. If you have a 50' motorhome with airconditioning and cable TV - this is not the place for you. If you like making smores around the fire, fishing, canoe rides and tenting - you have found the perfect place. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the staff was really nice. Lots of hiking, shopping and sight-seeing in the local area. Will be going back soon!

Horrible. Campground owner was very intoxicated, claimed 3 people complained of noise levels... it was 6:30pm on a Monday evening, asked me to leave without a refund after a 5 minute argument in which he claimed he WAS a lawyer, he swore at me said i had 30 minutess to leave his campground. When I did make it to the entrance i was met by police which i guess he called. This place was a joke I'll never return

The owners are excellent people and their employees are just as great. They do enforce the quiet time. The fireworks that are heard on the 4th are from camp owners that surround the lake. Never in the 12 years that we have been going has there ever been an issue. You can depend on these owners to keep their campground clean and continue to improve all aspects of the campground. A phone call to this place is a pleasure instead of a hassle. I would recommend this campground over any others that we visited. The lake is beautiful and the prices are reasonable.

My husband and I always go to the cove campground every year.. We have been in september and every time we go its always quiet during the week after labor day .. we actually had the whole place to ourselves which was nice.. We have been in june and it rained and we made the best of it.. there are lots of things to do the owners are very nice !! its nothing fancy just a good old campground. they have movie nights for the kids and ping pong tables upstairs from the office and they do have washer and dryers which do come in handy when it rains.. they have a horshoe pit and playground for kids ! If u like to fish get a site by the water we just cant say enough good things about the place.. especially when u meet people from all over who have honeymooned here and are now bringing there children..

I've been going here since I was a kid, and I've never found a better campsite. The lake is pristine, and there's tons to do in the area. It is rustic, but to me that's what camping is supposed to be.
