ugh-but near beautiful farm

The best part of the Damariscotta River Campground was the beautiful and welcoming farm house that is for sale (Feb. 07) approx. a quarter mile south east of this so called "camp ground."
Consider, if you can afford it, purchasing a home in the area instead of renting here, because this is really just a patch of land wedged in between an inn and a run down house trailer, with no amenities, no rooms (it's a CAMPground), and an uninspiring river view.
For those who must camp here, be self sufficient, because the campground provides nothing. Personally, I was entranced by the local real estate, not with this strip of lawn.
