We are full time rvers in a 40 ft motorhome with 4 slides. This park is remarkable. We have been to 34 states so far and this campsite is tops on our list. Large, spacious lots, very close to shopping, etc.
The managers were wonderful and before we left we had met dozens of new friends! They are still upgrading but have put in a lot of new things like bath houses and children's playgrounds.
I love this places and the place was really econonical. Shhhhh, don't tell them but they really could charge more!
We will be back!
First off this is not a campground it is a trailer park. We were lied to when we made our reservation. We were told large campsite with fire pits and it was located outside the city. The campsites are extremely small, the first one we did not fit in (it was under 8’wide) and the second one was a pull thru that we only had about 2’ clearance on one side and 1’ on the other. We have a pop up that is about 8’ wide. There were no fire pits only a small general one down by the sidewalk. It is located in the slums of Sioux Falls with Pawnshops and bars everywhere, and located very close the airport. All night long we heard bar fights, sirens, planes, a big bang (could have been a gun or a car backfiring, don’t really care), and someone threw sticky garbage all over one end of our camper. We got up at 4 AM and left. This was our worst camping experience ever.
My wife and I were in the process of renewing our drivers license and we needed a RV Park Campground or Motel receipt for the D M V. We stayed at Tower Campground for 7 days. The new managers were very helpful and friendly. Our space had full hookups including cable. Everything, including the cable, worked great. It is evident the managers are working hard to improve the campground. Our space was under trees so our motor home was well shaded. This was a clean, nice place to park our home on wheels. When we picked up our mail at Alternative Resources the lady told us that a New Car Dealer has bought this block of an apartment building, a mobile home park, and the campground. They have removed the old junk trailers out of the mobile home park and are putting in large clean R V sites. The campground is next door and looks to be getting cleaned up also. We were very happy with the space and the service provided. We would stay here again if we are in the area
