Stoney's Pineville Campground, Pulaski

I stayed at Stoney's this past weekend with the wife. The place it tops as a camp site and fishing location. The camp is close to everything and the fishing is world class. As this was our first trip up to the area we were very impressed with the staff and the local guides. Brought home many pounds of King Salmon fillets and one Coho to boot. Cant wait to get back to my new place in the world of fishing. Best regards Saul

Stoney's was a great place to stay. This was my first trip there and the people were friendly and laid back. I am a licensed NY fishing guide from eastern NY, and I know a little bit about fishing. The location was great, I mean great from a fisherman's perspective. I spent three days fishing with a good friend, we fished a long stretch of the middle river and didn't have a single hook-up, the crowds were there too. Eventually we decided to trust the campground firewood guy's advice a just fish the section of river behind the campground. We walked right out back and down to the river, 300 yds or so and.....WAM!!!! no one was around but us most of the time, and we were nailing the fish right in the back yard!!!!!!! Thanks Stoney!!!
