This campground is under new management and it is wonderful. We took children ages 7,9,11 and 13. They absolutely loved it!! Lots of new and neat things to do. Friendly staff and VERY CLEAN!! Will definately book again.

An ok place to go
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/12/08
I didn't like that they charged extra for more than 2 kids. Either build that into there already high prices or don't add the extra $3.00 p/child fee. The bathrooms were clean w/exception to a man cleaning the bathroom while women were in there. Extremely uncomfortable and weird situation. I thought they should have either closed the bathroom for 10 minutes or have a woman in there cleaning. The pool area was clean, however on a Saturday, there was too many people in the pool to enjoy it. I also felt like the web site over stated the amenities. The mini golf course was outdoor carpet with some brick around them. I did like the site themselves because they were private and wooded. All and all our family enjoyed our weekend stay there, but would not consider going back. I think for the price of the sites, we can find something better in that same area.

Friendliness and Relaxation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/21/07
Baraboo Hills Campground was one of the best places we have visited. The campground was constantly kept clean (including the bathrooms which were immaculate!). The pricing was based on two adults for each night, so we had to pay an "extra" fee for our 2 children, but it was still a great price. We had free access to basically everything...heated pool, mini-golf, volleyball, basketball, bikes, fishing, horseshoes. Pretty much anything you could imagine -- this definitely made up for the small charge of $3 for each child. Our site was great because it was wooded, and we weren't set up on top of other campers, so it really was our own little get away. The best part was the staff, especially the college girls. They knew exactly what they were doing, were friendly, and were always willing to help us out whether it was giving us directions, helping us find something in their cute little store, or helping us decide where to go to dinner. Overall, our stay at Baraboo Hills was completely relaxing in the friendly environment.

Baraboo Hills
By Dave and Shannon, 08/21/06
This campground has a lot to offer for families. The only problem I had is that there was a per child, per night charge for children, no matter how many children you had. There is a lot of the kids to do, and it is a nice quiet location, near the dells, but off the beaten path.
