Owl Creek Kampground, Riverton

It's our fortune to stay at this place by incident on our trip to Yellowstone National Parks.There are only 2 RV parks in Riverton that I known and after we got chasing out by the first one(try not to mention name) RV parks and got send over after 9:00 PM. We got a big welcome from friendliest owner staff, nice clean facility with a lot of shade and grass and got some good activity for kid too. Anyway, I can't list enough about this best place, You all have to find out yourself if I'm telling the true. Many thanks to Dee for leave the light on for us. We'll definetely stay longer next time.

Found this Oasis in Wyoming by accident. You know, Wyoming isn't that green and there aren't many trees. It's just North East of Riverton Wyoming. Ernie and Dee bought it back in April, 2007. They love it, and it shows. There are huge wonderful Cottonwood trees (I'm guessing some might be 150 years old) providing ample shade.The grounds are nicely taken care of, and well watered. The bathrooms have been upgraded with new sinks and fawcets. , and the wireless Internet access works wonderfully. I used Skype from my tablet PC to call home with the video going. The signal is strong (at least Good) everywhere, thanks to new routers. This is a great place to stay. The new owners are very nice and fun to chat with. On my second visit, I came down from Yellowstone's South Entrance. That is a nice distance, but it the ride down was rough on my Gold Wing, as I had to traverse 5 to 8 miles of unpaved, under construction roadway. Still, it was reassuring to arrive there, knowing the stay would be pleasant.

The best campground in the Rockies. Clean, taken care of out of the ordinary, shaded. Owner/operators, Frank and wife Pat make you feel like family. A wonderful place to visit and spend your vacation. Great rates. We spent three months on vacation last year, 2006, and spent more time in this campground than any other place. Don't stay too long, as we want in again in 2007 summer. If you go, tell them Jim and Mary Ann Randall recomended this to you.
