Sports Unlimited Campground, Prairie du Chien

i have a permanant spot at the campground. The manager is nice to me and my friends, but sometimes when we go in there she is in another fight with one of the campers. Usually it is a "weekender" as we call them that is fighting with her. We usually go to hang out at the office and get slushies and she gives us free refills. You just have to be nice to her to get on her good side. She isnt that bad. I will say that she is crabby but not as bad as the management. They say that there is a security camera on the pool but there isn't so go ahead and disobey the food and drink rule.

Not sure why the seasonal people would want to stay there all the time when the rules are what they are. We came into the campground Labor Day weekend. We thought this was a very well kept park and provided many things for our children to do. We went to the pool and thought it was a beautiful pool but the rules were out of line. Why can't you bring plastic bottled water into the pool area? Just does not make sense. This was our first visit to the campground and the lady in the check in office was kind of rude and very short with us, (like we knew what we was doing). I really don't think we will be going back to this place. It's a very nice place, BUT some of the rules are stupid and some of the help need a better attitude. Again, very doubtful this first timer will ever give this campground money again.

Lady that runs place, bad mouths other campgrounds in area. But yet restricts everything that her place has to offer to those that buy from them. Consistency is not a word they use, nor honesty. Definitely not impressed nor see how they stay open that way. Heard from others staying there they were leaving because of that.

Was at campground for 15 years. Wouldnt let me bring in a new park model. Sick of rules and being treated bad so moved out.....will NEVER go back!!!!

The elderly lady at the desk was downright nasty. We camped there and liked the place for the most part. We were interested in buying a permanent spot until we had to interact with the mean old lady. Why would they want her representing their campground? Since camping there, I've talked with two other couples that said they also decided not to buy a place because of her. We talked to some of the people who have been there for years and they say she is horrible. They said many people have moved out because of her and all their rules. The pool is really nice. The other shower houses are run down and need major repair. It looks as though no one maintains the landscaping around the pool and shower houses. The mini golf is a complete disaster. It is not a good first impression when you pull in. Until the nasty old woman is gone, we will not be going back.

Lady that runs is extremely rude and changes what she says from one moment to the next, then denies it. Not consistent. You pay for every little thing . Not a very family orriented place. Will not go back or reccommend it to anyone. No refunds for any reason either! The park is clean as far as a positive thing goes.

Very nice campground for location and ease of recreation. The people in the campground make the campground what it is today. The manager that works in the office is very rude and unprofessional and like to argue with the campground guests. This campground should be upgraded to computers to speed the process of registration and entry into the campground. In the past there used to be social activities taking place at the campground, however, we do not see that at this time. This would allow wonderful activities for our children as well as adults to socialize in

My family arrived for the Annual Appreciation Picnic in August, which was excellent. The manager was very unplesant and acted like we were a bother to wait on. We arrived fifteen minues before check in and were refused entry. We apologized and because of our trailer size asked if we could go and park. No way. Would go back if a kinder person was working. Great food, the picnic which is hosted by the owners was absolutley wonderful. Our kids won many nice prizes, Santa Claus and all. Kudo's for the crew!!

The campground is very nice , but the host acts like you are an inconvienance to her. She snaps at you if you ask a question and more or less tells you if you don't like it, don't come back.
