The restaurant is FABULOUS!! The new owners are fantastic....The Chef is the son of the new owners and is doing a wonderful job......great food, great prices, great staff...great atmosphere....you must check it out 5 STARS!!!!

place was an ok joint for a fish-fry or throw back some suds, but can't wait for new owner. Scuttle-butt has it that there is a new owner taking over sometime this fall. Absolutly can't wait! Hopefully this place will be back to all it's glory!

The food and service has really gone downhill lately and I saw the cook licking all his fingers through the window of the kitchen door! Gross!!!!!

We rented the shelter for a party durning he summer and we had a band there and we were told we could play music until 11pm The owner and bartender were miserable and rude. Around 10pm the owner came up screaming and yelling. I wouldn't recommend having your party there.

The menu was varied, service was excellent, and the food was well priced and very tasty to this traveler. I plan to go back. The lakes provide a bit of romance. I understand they have big screen sports events. And, they always remember you name!

For a wonderful weekend, just a few days or even the entire season, I would heartily recommend Colden Lakes . We have been coming back for 5 years now and really enjoy our stays. With four small lakes nestled in a hilly wilderness, it is very quiet and restful. A full service restaurant and bar on the premises saves travel time in finding a place to eat or just gather for some enjoyable talk with ourselves and others. There is fishing on the four small lakes, a heated swiming pool, playground for kids, horseshoes, volleyball field, and a ball field for those so inclined. A small laundry facility is available on premises for those in need. Campsites are nestled in a forest, with the lakes nearby. Their is a cabin and a small chalet available for rental. Management is readily available and the grounds are continually manicured and kept clean. We plan to keep going back.
