I am 68 years old and I have been comeing here for six years and i read all three postings below and I so much agree with the top two and wish I the person in the 3td would let me know who they are. There are people who are always haveing problems where they go. I could not be any happer then what I am at this park. With the loss of my dear friend Jeff Love i am going to do ant thing i can do to help the kid out. I would hate to see the loss of thid great camp ground. by the way my name is Ray Burton
My family has had a place at this campground for many years now. My husband has been going there since he was a youngster himself with his family. We would never dream of a nicer place, or a nicer family of owners to spend our summer weekends with. It is the perfect place to escape all the hassles, drama, limitations, and RULES of the work week and just relax and let go. The fishing on the lakes is great. The pig roast picnics are terrific. Are kids truely enjoy going to this campground and playing with the other kids that are regulars there as well. In this economy, they way we have to work now is a killer, early to bed, early to rise and get the day started. It is sooooo refreshing to have an inexpensive, close, and FUN place to relax, hang out with long time friends, and be reminded of all the good aspescts of American life that can often be overlooked by all the pettiness and fighting. Thank you Jeff, Patty, Jeremy, and Pat for the great place we call our second home.
I found the grounds very relaxing. Everyone in the campground was friendly and willing to help. The lots are perfect size and it was not as expensive as the other campgounds. This place has great access for boats. This campground had the best pig roast picnic for Labor day and all it cost was a side dish. Thank you Love's Lazy Lagoon.
This campground is the pits!! The owners let a select amount of other seasonal campers make and break all the rules there. Jeff and his wife let them run the place. This select group makes up new rules to fit their needs along the way too. They party and get drunk and loud at night and they are untouchable. If you speak with the manager and his wife about them, the rules do not apply. Only to others!!! Management does not EVER put any money into this place! If the kids want basketball we have to bring out own hoop. The swingset is donated by a camper. If sand is needed in the "donated" sand box, we must purchase it ourselves. They are out for profit only and do not want to put a dime into the everyday running of the place. Hope they learn their lesson because ALOT of the seasonal campers, including us are now gone! Believe me, find a different place! This place is for the birds!!!
