A little piece of Heaven on earth
Kenisee has it all. Trees, Lakes, River, a Campstore (Plenty of goodies for the kids) Activities for both adults (Live Bands) & kids. The friendliest neighbors along with the most secure feeling I have ever had at a campground for myself and Granddaughter. This will be our 3rd summer at Kenisee and we count the days for camping season to begin. I bought a little pop-up a couple of years ago and the next year I moved all the way up to a 32' with a slide-out and I never want to go home. The seasonal campers take a lot of pride in their lots, campers and decks. The kids get along great and most weekends there are events for them. But believe me, with 4 lakes, great fishing, all the woods and golfcart riding or biking keeps them very happy. I have yet to have heard the word "bored". Everyone looks out for eachother's kids and there are always neighbors ready to lend a hand when there is a deck going up or a shed. As for overnight campers, I spend a lot of time by the lakes while my Granddaughter swims and we have made some full time friends from people passing though. The pull throughs are shaded and I have seen some of the most expensive, gorgeous RV ever staying at Kenisee. You know that the family that runs this campground is doing something right...that is doing everything right...when there are no empty lots for more than a few days. So make your reservations early !!!! See you all soon M-20. Stop on in if you make it to Kenisee!! Oh, also you are right in the heart of wine country with at least 15 wineries within a 10 mile radius. Kenisee is about 5 miles from the Historic Geneva On the Lake and Lake Erie. Also, the Seasonal Midevial Fair is about 10 minutes away and is a very authentic and interesting event !!
