Single males need not apply..

Location is nice; amenities nice; peaceful surroundings with much nature (trails, etc). Owner is very nice; she wants to keep the place as a nature sanctuary and uses money from the gate and camping/rent to keep the place up, which I totally agree with.
However, as a single male I felt less than welcome by those in charge (not the owner). A single male has to call ahead and make an appointment to go and at that point they can screen you out. Maybe they've had some bad experiences with gawkers and perverts, which is too bad as they ruin it for true naturist males. I gave up going until I could get my girlfriend to go, but she worked long hours and it was difficult for us to find the same time to go. Dyer Woods is a quiet (some would say boring) naturist resort, but I liked it ok. I just wish they were more receptive to single males who could show AANR or TNS cards. I really liked the fact of the nature trails where you could walk and really enjoy nature and animals, which I love. I hope a developer never gets a hold of the land as it is beautiful and I applaud the owner for trying to keep it that way. The swimming hole could get a bit stagnant and that was the only thing I found that could be improved (maybe run the filter system more).
