Shoreline Rv Campground, Crescent City

Likes - Close to town, beach, lighthouse, bike trail. Dislikes - Not nearly enough showers & restrooms for the number of campers, shower/restroom facilities are very old and do not handle the volume (shower drains can't keep up and people stand in several inches of filthy water taking showers), shower/restrooms are locked and cannot be used, cleaning personnel complain to customers about their employer and politics, dumpster was way too small for the amount of campers on site (garbage was overflowing and piled all around the dumpster on the ground), and finally our reserved spots were occupied when we arrived (we were told there was a computer error. After a 6 hour drive to get there I expect a little more than a computer error. We were assigned another site that was unacceptable, but what choice did we have?), People were stealing bicycles and police were driving through the grounds at about 30 minute intervals all day long (made us wonder what we had gotten into), In general this was a very run down and poorly maintained facility. We paid about $63 for 3 nights. It was extremely disappointing. We will be staying elsewhere in the future.
