Could've Been Better...or Cheaper

This place was pretty awful though I suppose there's not much room to complain given the price. The "cozy" cabins that they describe on their website are nothing more then empty wooden sheds with small beds with dirty plastic matresses. Also ours faced the highway so with all the noise of the cars driving by, we ended up sleeping in the car most of the time just so that it would be quieter. We also found a number of spiders living in our cabin. The grounds are muddy, and littered with weeds and dead leaves, clearly unkept. The worst part had to be the bathrooms though. The women's bathroom is not only dirty (clogged toilets, dirty showers stained with overgrown mildew, dirt and mud on bathroom floor) but it is also EXTREMELY unsafe as it faces a highway with nothing there except a cornfield. It's also around the back away from the rest of the camp so that if something is to happen to you, no one would know. Very unsafe location ladies. My fiancee' also said that the men's bathroom was equally as filthy, nearly all the toilets were clogged with feces. We got complaints from other campers that the bathrooms in the front of the campsite were even worse. Overall, poor maintenence of the campgrounds. The only good part about staying in this place was that the cabins DO have electricity (though only one outlet) and there is all you can eat pancakes in the morning for a small fee. The pancakes were some of the best I've had and the elderly couple that provides them were very welcoming and nice. The other perk is that it is fairly close to Cedar Point. This place could've easily been $20.00 cheaper.
Honestly though, you're better off to stay on OH-2, go east and get a cheap hotel for probably close to the same rate. Avoid this place if you can.
