We liked everything about the Denali Lodge at Camper's Paradise in Sigel, PA. This 4-bedroom, 2-bath rustic home is furnished with everything vacationers could want including a jetted tub in the master suite, a 4-person hot tub and a sauna on the partially-covered back deck, a fully-equipped large kitchen, a log-burning fireplace in the livingroom, a gas fireplace in the dining room, a TV with satellite service and a DVD, and a spacious and private wooded area where there was a fire ring, picnic table, and two multi-person swings for outdoor enjoyment. The Lodge was immaculately clean and very nicely decorated -- it really felt like home. We had the privacy and quiet we were seeking for an all-girls weekend shared by 4 friends.

CAMPERS NIGHTMARE

Beware of all the hidden charges.We had a family reunion there and it was a very nice location but I have never dealt with such rude owners of a business in my life.The sheets were dirty in our cabin ants all through the cabins gas smell in 2 of our cabins was told to leave the doors open.There is not enough room to name it all . I was very dissapointed and so was our families live and learn.

I noticed you are also from california and yet camped at paradise campgrounds. I use to camp there as a child in the 1970's I was thinking of taking a cross-country trip. What else did you think about paradise.

No water at site. We had to fill up before setting up our RV. They simply had not turned on water at the sites. There was no one there at check in although we were there early in the day. Registration was not clearly marked so we went to a home next door. The gentlemen there was not familiar with check in..told us to go park after filling up with water. He said the manager would come by later to check us in. We went back the next morning but there was still no manager. When we finally located a manager the price was DOUBLE the advertised price even though it was stated in the brochure. We were upset but the manager would not concede saying she should charge more. She was rude and very unprofessional. We paid more for this campground than most of the campgrounds we have stayed at. And NO WATER! $90 for two nights! Ridiculous!!
