A wonderfull tent camping experience!
By ,
Beautiful tent grounds along the Susquehanna with easy acces to Jersey Shore, Lock Haven, and Williamsport with all the North Central PA beauty at easy distance. Hiking, fishing and swimming very relaxing. Absoutley great people (special thanks to Bill, Tom, Rose and Frank for their hospitality). Be sure to ask their parking concerns so that you do not accidently rut their beautiful grass landscape under the trees. I will definately use the campground whenever I'm in the area. Very Peaceful!

mist on the river
By ,
hay just wanted to thank you guys for a wonderful stay. looks like your doing a lot of work to make the place look nice landscapeing takes a lot of work and money. But your on the right track and people sure do make it tough on you when thy just drive there trucks any where they want. I loved the susquehanna river in the moring with the mist riseing just over the water in the morning I t was the coolest thing I ever saw one day on the point you guys called it. where Larrys creek runs in to the susquehanna river. We where fishing in that honey hole you called it not a bad spot for cat fish if I might say myself. It must of been just about ten clock in the moring just after alight rain we just got our worm wet and the sun came out. It was just like we were in the middle of the river sitting on that riverbrook point when the coolest rain bow want from one side of the river bank to the other it was almost right over us just as cleer colorfule as I ever saw . I was glad to see the sun come out . I wish I had my came I might never see that again in my hole life. Hope to come back next year a round fathers day when the walleyes are runing.

The previous review is overly negative

I am 27 and have been visiting this campground since I was about 10yrs old. First of all,Tom is NOT the owner. Helen and Steve own the campground. Secondly, you should have voiced your electrical concerns to Tom. He could have placed your large RV in a pull through site. Tom is by the way a certified electrician. Are you? I bet not! As for the water, it is hard water and does NOT smell bad. It is tested yearly and is SAFE to drink. However, most campers prefer to drink bottled water and use the hard water for cleaning/showering. Yes, hard water will leave mineral deposits. No, CLR will not remove it. You are cleaning with the wrong product. I suggest WINK. It removes it and you don't even need to scrub! For as long as I have been going there I have never seen a turkey, but the river does sit near the woodline, so I'm not surprised. Most campers enjoy nature. If you don't like critters don't go camping! I have also had the pleasure of feeding geese and seeing a deer or two from time to time. Great pictures! Gray Water: in the state of PA it is legal to run gray water onto the ground as long as it is used for nothing other than showering and washing dishes. You will not pollute the river this way!

Didn't even stay

We had reservations for this campground but when we arrived it looked and felt too scary to stay at. We left and found a different campground
