Mountain Creek Campground, Gardners

This was a nice change from large campgrounds. Probably 100+ sites, very large sites because of its age. Great creek to listen to - and the kids loved playing in it. Will definitely return on our way to Florida. Nice staff.

Just spent the holiday weekend here - great time! Very family-oriented campground, which was just perfect for us. Shady campsite, listened to the creek at night, did kids' crafts, went on hayride, splashed in the creek, enjoyed the music entertainment. Staff was very friendly and very helpful - had trouble with our rv on the trip getting there - the owners helped us make repair. The pool was very nice - especially nice to have the separate and huge kiddie pool. Bathrooms were clean, for which we were thankful since we have young kids and definitely use the bathrooms when we travel. Overall had a wonderful weekend and can't wait to take our little ones back there to camp again! Would highly recommend this place to our friends.

We have a family of ages from 3yrs. to 16yrs. and my husband and me. We found that they had something for everybody. They were great about helping us - even loaning us a computer for work we had to do - when ours quit on us. If you like friendly people and a beautiful setting - this campground is for you! (great fries and nachos too!)

Swampy in the rain. We lost electric every 10 minutes for four hours one day....told it was expensive to fix. Staff not very friendly. Bath house had mildew/mold growing on floors and walls. We like the overall campground area. The kids have fun and it feels like a safe place for the kids. BUT, definitely needs some updating and cleaning. Doesn't appear much has been done to it in the last four years.
