The Promised Land Camp, Conestoga

PLC is a great place. It's proof that camps don't have to be fancy or expensive to change lives. I work with a youth program that brings several hundred junior high students there every year. Don't come expecting a hilton, but the setting is beautiful. There's a variety of things to do, including the aforementioned zipline, horses, pond with canoes, ballfield, and a gym. Extensive renovations on the water slide and bath houses are underway. The camp is affordable and an excellent choice for kids. Best of all, it's a place that I've seen a lot of lives changed there, campers, counselors, and staff.

That is how I describe our time at the Promised Land Camp, just spectacular. Praise the Lord. What a great blessing the Lord gave to us to be able to spend some time at His camp. And truly this camp does belong to Him. We had such an awesome time worshiping the Lord and praising His name. We had the freedoma nd the outdoors to marvel in His glory. What a great experience. We were able to enjoy good food and good spiritual food. We ate and ate. Praise the Lord. There are a lot of trails around the camp where you can walk in solitude and just mediate on your Redeemer. It is quiet. We do not get very many chances to be still and know that He is Lord. There is a creek that runs through the property. It is very scenic and refreshing. They have horses you can enjoy as well. Just watching these magnificent creatures is a special blessing for someone who does not get the opportunity to do so very often. While I was walking a deer jumped up and took off not more than ten yards in front of me. It was exciting. I wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully we can return again and again. Praise the Lord for the Promised Land Camp, His camp.

We really enjoyed our stay at the camp. It is a wonderful place that God has set aside for those interested in getting away from the world and enjoying the outdoors and what God has created. The prices are very affordable and there is a lot ot do. There is a gym as well as a soccer field. They have a ropes course and a zip line. There are a lot of trails through the woods as well. We really enjoyed getting to meet the staff. They seem very nice and Godly people. The horses were beautiful. The kitchen was very nice with two big fireplaces. There is a meeting room for worship and Bible study. We enjoyed ourselves very much and cannot wait to go back again. We would like to try to come twice a year if possible.

Our church had a wonderful time this past fall at our retreat. The camp is a great place to go and get away from it all in a Spiritual setting. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would certainly recommend the camp to anyone who is interested in Christian camping. The prices are very affordable. We have already booked for next year and cannot wait to go back.

I can’t even begin to explain the experience we had with the lord at this place. I think This place has been anointed with the power of god. We felt like it was only us and god And nothing but nature around us. At night we did a fire pit, where we sang to our lord And presented all our petitions. We love the camp. It is a great place to go and talk with the Lord and be able to listen. It is also very economical which is a blessing for us. There are many activities or you can just find a spot and enjoy God's beauty. We cannot wait until we have the chance to go back.

This is the best place to go if you want to get in touch with LORD and have fun activities for all ages. With a huge pool, waterslide,gym, zip line, rock wall, horses, and so much more kids of all ages will keep coming back for more. You are surrounded by outdoors and can really get away from it all.I can not wait to go back.

We love the camp. It is a great blessing with many opportunities to have fun and to get in touch with the Lord. It is so quiet and peaceful while hundreds of kids are having a blast. It is amazing. There are so many things offered: paint ball, horses, swimming, canoeing, water sliding, tubing, fishing, ropes, zip line, basketball, volleyball, rock climb, soccer, mission impossible, hiking. The food was outstanding. The snack bar was a great hit as well. We love it and cannot wait to go back again. Thank God for this camp.

We have been coming to this camp for about three years now. Our church loves the camp. We can hardly wait until the next time we come for camp or a retreat. It is amazing. They have horses and trail rides. They have a fun zip line and ropes course. They have trails through the woods that you can hike. The Conestoga River is right below them and we can tube down the river. They have a great little pond we canoe in and you can fish if you want to. They have a really fun water slide. They have a pool, gymnasium, and soccer and softball fields. But the best thing is they have a sweet spirit at this camp. We cannot wait to go back.

This place is a joke. Its dirty, run down, and the activities are gay. Dont waste your time or money here. Im sure there are better Christian camps in the area.
