Lost Hollow Campgrounds, Logan

After reading the post that was degrating Lost Hollow I would like to say a few things.I first like to tell Disappointed that if they would look at lost hollows web site they would see that the activities are posted.Also you can see there is alot of activities for both adults,and kids.I checked it out and they are having b-ball, putt-putt,volleyball,cornhole, shuffle board tournaments. I also seen another band added at our ox-roast. I hope they are still having the extra pot for hte poker runs. I also want to say about clicks, rude people and any negative things everyone has to say just say hi and talk to other campers and you will find most people are very nice and will welcome you to ther lots, and are willing to help each other if you need it.

I've always loved going camping at Lost Hollow...beautiful country! A place to vacation with your family and friends when you don't have allot of $ to travel. We've been coming here on and off for almost 20 years then we decided to buy a few years ago. That was our best year, then the next year things started to change NOT for the best. Each year this place seems to get worse, the roads, the activities, they use to have so much more for the kids (young and old) Now it seems as some of the board members have taken there position as a way to control this place to the bad. They only look out for their own all others beware. They have taken out all the fun activities, they don't post the one they do have on the website so those that don't live there can't plan ahead of time. They shut off the water to early...fall camping is nice to watch the leaves change. They don't let us enjoy what we pay for. We have been good to and for the camp grounds, we pay our dues on time and keep our place clean. If only you board members would have others do the same and leave us good people alone. Now I wish we would have stayed visitors instead of bought into the hassle of owning.

HEARD ABOUT THE BOARD CORRUPTION ... VERY RUDE PEOPLE IN THIS PARK....THE CAMP GROUNDS ARE NOT CLEAN AT ALL...THE ROADS ARE BAD SHAPE, THE BATHROOMS ARE DIRTY AND I HEARD THEY MAKE UP THERE BYLAWS AS THEY GO

My family used to visit Lost Hollow all summer long... but sorry to say, things have really changed.. Take a look at their website.The board members have all but ruined what used to be a nice place to belong to. The current Board members are dishonest and very sneaky,,, Members need to read up on how board meetings should be ran and take a stand, It is your money paying for the Board members to run your campground.

When we first became members of Lost Hollow it was GREAT! Throughout the years alot has changed. People there can't seem to mind there own business. They got there own clicks throughout the campground. If your not in one of the clicks, they treat you different. If you are a board member or someone in the "clicks" and you broke a by-law, the board would look the other way and not do anything about it. Anyone else that would break a by-law would be fined or disciplined in some way. In a place like this everyone should be treated the same. The board members also lie to you about what they do with YOUR money. For example, they said they needed more money to take care of the roads. Members gave them extra money but the roads were never fixed. My advice; stay away from this place it's nothing but problems and trouble!

All four of my kids grew up at L.H. every summer when school was out we stayed there until school was beginning again. We also camped there every weekend those were the good times. We had a blast and I didn't have to worry about them getting into trouble, everything was right there in the park. I agree the "resort" has kinda ruined things. We did have fun though. Unfortunately I am forced to sell my lots soon. Our family will miss L.H.

We had our lot there for more than 10 yrs, The last 2 yrs the board members have decided that they would like to see this as a resort for the retired. They have now made up rules and no longer have the lot owners best interest at heart, I loved going there every weekend and just "camping", Now they are coming up rules (without input from the members) about what your lot can or cannot look like. Including too many weeds on or around your lot,, or you have a tarp covering the top of your camper, (used for weather protection). Please, members of lost hollow, do not allow the board members to continue what they are doing with YOUR dues, and Your Campground

I bought in the park last year and took some pallet wood down and put on my lot after I surveyed it to make sure was on my property. During the winter when the park is to be cloced I got a letter stating to clean up my building materials on my property or I will be fined. I asked what building materials a board member said pallets where blowing on other neighbors lots.. I said what happened a tornado. right LOL. Then I asked for pics and what lot to see for self no answer so how do you clean up a building materials that is not there. So I went to look at the rules in the park to read them. It states they was fining me for material on Common property and not neighbors property the board down there thinks the are GOD.

Lost Hollow Campground is a wonderful family oriented place to spend your summer. It has so many activities for the whole family. Two swimming pools, volleyball, basketball, shuffelboard,playgrounds,lots of special activities, bingo every Sat. night, Bands several times thru the summer, a new chapel to attend, great restraunt and store, golf carts,many campsites available for sale... Come and have a great time. A place to get away and make new friends...

i grew up there all my life going down every weekend and u mke new friends and ride around on golf carts or have fires and have big paartys or just relax at ur lot all u want and never be bothered
