As Always~An Amazing Visit :)
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/28/08
We have been coming to this campground for 4 years, now! We have never been let down! The resort is always expanding & changing for the better. The staff addresses us by name & are very accomodating & friendly. My kids have a BLAST. They ride their bikes, play in the creek, climb trees, take hikes & love to swim in the pool. Live music, bon-fires & cook-outs join the whole resort for an added bonus to ensure the adults have a great time, too. We have no complaints at all. 5 STARS *****

Not a good experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/07
Restrooms dirty, showers not working properly two out of three did not work. Site promised was not what we got. Ended up staying in a gravel roadway with no picnic table or fire ring. Dog MESS everywhere. Mess got on shoes and then on carpet in trailer. Office did not respond well to our concerns. Some campers had dogs in showers. Way overcrowded. Would not recommend and will not stay here again. Very poor value for the money although grounds are generally nice looking, they are not well cleaned or kept up. Disorganized.

nice, pretty, but....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/18/07
grounds are well maintained and improvements are often, but the bathrooms could use updating and repairs. it is very pretty with nice walking paths. but sometimes disorganized staff and slow to react to problems. suppose to have wireless internet,if it is working and that is rarely. it is in countryside, so a bit of a drive to charlottesville and montecello. it is a nice place for a short stay.

Not what I expected
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/06
The people were friendly but the campground is crowded. The RV's are packed together like sardines. No pads for tents. It was raining our first night, there wasn't near enough gravel for the unpaved road we were on, which meant an extreme amount of mud. We stayed from Friday to Sunday, the bathrooms were not cleaned at all during our stay. The haunted hayride was enjoyable.
