Flintlock Campground, Boone

If you have little kids and trying to do a vacation on a budget this is the place to go!! My kids loved the music concert they had while we were there and loved the sandbox and playground. It is a small playground and sandbox, but great for a 1 and 3 year old. Stay in the cabins for sure--you are so close to your neighbor if you tent camp that it would be hard to get little ones to sleep. Way worth the extra money! It was a great place to stay--way better than a crampy more expensive hotel room and super close to Tweetsie--the beloved attraction for our little boys! Hope you have as much fun as we did!
