Would not stay there again!
Not in the least pet friendly. We have never had complaints about our yorkies before - they therapy dogs - they are trained to be quiet and are very affectionate. They visit hospitals and nursing homes. Our dogs are immaculate and we clean up if there is an accident. They are all yorkies and the largest one is 5 pounds. Shortly after arriving we set up an ex-pen for the dogs. Big mistake! A surly, unfriendly old man with an attitude similar to Hitler arrived and asked if we'd read the rules.. guess we hadn't... but dogs are not allowed in ex-pens or anywhere else for that matter. At first I thought he was joking...until he told us that if we didn't like it to leave! One yorkie is in a wheel chair, he was born without legs and is in diapers 24/7 and we got chewed out because he was on a leash for a walk! We were told to take them to the dog area - which we did. It was disgusting, hadn't been cleaned in so long that there was no way I would allow my dogs in such a filthy place for fear of them catching some disease. We took them back to the rv and let them use potty pads inside. In spite of all the USA hoopla and vets stay free crap...... this place is more like a POW camp! Miserable experience.
