This is a trailer park not a campground

I called in advance to make reservations for two specific sites that suited our needs for the Labor Day Weekend. I was required to book a minimum of 3 nights, pay in full in advance, no cancellation, no refunds. When we arrived we were told that they gave our sites away and we could stay in the over flow section or on two sites that were so tight that we had about 18 inches from the edge of our awning to the next camper. There were no campfire rings and the picnic tables were falling apart. There was no apology and the owner/manager was down right rude about it and told us we could take it or leave it (no refund). Not your typical WNC hospitality (obviously they are not from around here). This facility houses mostly full time residents who have junked up most of the sites with refrigerators and living room furniture outside of their camper. The residents do not welcome camping enthusiast. The web site says family friendly but there are signs up all over that say no bike riding, no roller blading, the game room is shut down and the residents have posted no trespassing signs on their sites. For the entire holiday weekend the bathrooms were not cleaned, pool was not cleaned, no trash dumped, toilets were backed up and no one picked up after their dog. Not a good experience and I will never return.
