Rainbo Beach Resort, Needles

This cozy resort is conveniently located right off of Interstate 40 in Needles, Ca. The campsite is ideal for RV's or trailors but not so much for camping in tents. Has hook-ups for electricity and water. Restrooms and showers are very clean and the clubhouse offers beer, wine and a full scale kitchen. The weekend I was out there they showed the pay-per-view fight on their 50 inch flatscreen TV free of charge. The river is just steps away from the campsites and there is a large grass area which is ideal for lounging. People at the site are mostly locals and are very friendly. Overall experience was great and am looking to return again sometime soon.

Rainbo is a great place for the kids. In the summer there is always FREE soft seve ice cream or yogurt in the club house. Most of the R.V. guest are repeat summer or winter seasonal guests. Because the guests are primarily seasonal guests, they tend to know everyone and look after one another. As far as a previous comment about blatant racisim, I beleive this statement is false and was made by disgruntled camper that was turned away due to an aging or deteroiated rig. If you look or ask around, you can find very happy guests of every race or religion. Many major resorts have a 10 to 15 year maximum vehicle age requirement. This requirement has nothing to do with race, it has to do with fellow customer comfort and safety. R.V.s can carry explosive propane or harmfull chemicals in their holding tanks . A chemical release from an older poorly maintained R.V. can turn fun vacation into a dangerous or smelly trip.I would like to thank Rainbo for maintaining their standards and not selling out to just anyone who has 20 bucks in their pocket.

The rainbo Beach Resort only allows vehicles in that are 10 years old or newer. When I asked why that was, I was told that an older camper van or RV was more likely to drive in and unload 10 mexicans. And this would make it unattractive to their clientele. When I said, "but that's blatant discrimination", the man said, "yes it is." This place should be put out of business.

They have made so many improvements: ALL THE ROADS , THE RETAINING WALL WITH STEPS DOWN TO THE BEACH , NEW LIGHTING , A GAZEBO OUT ON THE POINT , BUILT A PATIO WITH THE CLUBHOUSE/ RESTURANT. YOU HAVE TO SEE ALL THE NEW STUFF. KEVIN@ FAMILY

We had a very good time there. Every one was so nice and very helpfull. If you ever drive threw Needles, Ca . This is the PLACE to stay.

everyone was so great and the resort is so wounderful. my family is so ready to go back.get this they have a ice storage that you get your own ice and PUT YOUR MONEY IN A COFFEE CAN.......

we loved this place. everyone is so nice there.we will go back as soon as we can..the rv sites have a great beach area.
