Broad River Campground, Lincolnton

Okay, so I know about ants. My kids and I are frequent campers but, this particular camground was horrible. Put it this way, I reached in the cabinet of my pop up to get a skillet and as I removed it I had no less than 300 ants on my hands. We had to empty out everything and spray then sit outside in the hot sun waiting for it to air out sufficiently to go back in. When I spoke with the volunteer staff they informed me that they get the same complaint at leats every other day and that the park refuse to treat for ants. So, if you stay be prepared. According to some other campers, comet sprinkled around the perimeter helps along with vaseline on your power cords. Good Luck!I will never go back.
