Cowtown Rv Park, Aledo

I am so pleased to read that they have changed management to someone who really cares what happens ,as we did, in the park. Treat people right and they will return and enjoy their stay at the same time. Example: some of our friends just returned from staying at Cowtown and said it was a great place once again. Keep up the good work managers.

Cowtown RV Park is a great place to stay. The park is neat and clean. The staff are more than willing to go the extra mile to make you stay a welcomed one. They have rules and enforce them about your pets, which I think is great. They have great pet run areas so they don't allow cages on your site .

During the week stay we heard bad stories of the previous management team and how much the park had improved over the past few months. The park owners did, in fact, fire the previous managers. It is now very clean, trees are neatly trimmed, the staff is friendly and courteous. In fact, we were in line behind someone who had a medical emergency and the manager gave a full refund to the customer. The location is perfect. We will definately be back!

I paid for a monthly site and found out I was unable to get to the RV Park as anticipated. After 1 week I called the park to see if I could pay for a week and get reimbursed for the rest. The manager said no that there were no refunds, so that was that. On the second week I called ahead and said I was going to come in that night. When I arrived the manager said that they already rented out my site and didn't have any more monthly sites available and refused to make good on their service. I was robbed for $400 without ever parking my RV in the park. If Cowtown Rv Park was the last park on earth I would do without.

stayed here several times before...this time Oct 07...dirty bathrooms..neglected landscaping..disinterested staff. UGH!! the only thing still "worth" it is the location...close to Weatherford and Ft. Worth.

We did not choose to stay at this park, because vehicles park out in the road way making it hard to get thru, with loud music coming from one car that you could hear several spaces away, a pickup with a trailer was parked in the way of passing on the road. We saw two dogs running lose. I must assume they either have no rules or people don't abide by them and the managers don't inforce them. We continued to look in the area and found a much nicer park, but it was not as conviently located to area stores as this park. It is said when you see parks ran like this as it is like a small community and people should try to keep things nice for all.

This park is very ill kept, from the laundry facilities (look inside washers are nasty) to the trees with limbs hanging down, and the grass is very bad need of tending, to the shrubs (whoever tends them needs some training). Helpers stand around and do nothing most of the time and are ill informed on the area. The management leaves a lot to be desired, actually no mangement would be better than what they have. The owners really need to pay attention to what is going on and do something about it. Under the old owners this was a very nice, well kept park, too bad!!

We travel thru Aledo,Tx twice a year and stay for about a week at Cowtown RV Park, I must say I was very disappointed about the condition of the park. Since we stayed in the fall the park has really been neglected. They don't keep the laundry facilities clean, nor do they keep the roads or grass area clean. If I owned this park i would fire the people I had running it and half the help standing around the office and hire some people to work on clean up. Although they have dog runs people are allowed to have pens on there grass where their dogs go to the bathroom and keep the area looking dead and muddy, or worse they walk their dogs and they use the bathroom on other lawns so the owners don't have to clean up. Dogs are taken in the bath houses and laundry facilities. I would rate this park very bad. We will no longer stay in this park.
