We were surprised to see the place; though, not for the right reasons. The place looks great at first glance. The spaces towards the front of the RV park may be a better stay. We were given a space towards the back (112). The smell was terrible. There were people who had been living there for years; which would not be a problem if the travel trailers/rv's weren't sorrounded by clutter and spider webs.
The resort's pet could might as well be a crow that just roams the area with no fear of people. It is one of the resident's pet and is carried around on their shoulder (even in the swimming pool!). The bird makes it impossible to eat out on the picnic table, for it tends to want to steal your food.
The electricity in this space (and according to the peson next to us, his too) does not work correctly. We at first thought our AC had stopped working, but it was the voltage. There was not enough voltage to run our AC, or our microwave, or toaster oven. During certain times of the day, it would run for a couple of minutes, but not during the peak heat times.
On a good note, the laundry room was clean and so were the bathrooms.
Our experience may not be the same as others and not all the spaces may experience the voltage issues we had, nor the smell around the area we were in.
The location of the park makes it easy to get to. It was very pretty with trees everywhere. I saw landscaping guys the whole time we were there. We had a good time at the pool and watching movies.
La Pacifica is really close to everything we wnated to do. We went to Sea World and the manager helped us get there with directtions. He also gave us some good ideas for dinner in the area.
We stayed for two weeks and have already booked a site for when we come back from Canada at the end of the summer.
