81 Palms Rv Resort, Deming

Stopped here overnight. Arrived in late afternoon. Very friendly folks at check-in. Park is clean, quiet and for 55+ travelers. Nice indoor pool, laundry, bath/restroom facilities. Would stay here again.

I have been staying at this park for 8 years and we love it here and the reviewer who gave the bad report "We will never go back" should have read the signs that say you must check into the office first and do not drive in until you do. The owner is very protective of his park and the safety of the people in it, it is one of the reasons we all feel so safe here. He does not want people just driving in. Who knows who they are. All he asks, in a big sign, is to check in the office first. It is a lovely park, very clean, nice people and beautiful gardens.

After many visits to Deming, this park was a breath of fresh air! The other parks in town are crowded, un-kept and full of young kids who trash the place. This park may not be full, but has a great atmosphere and great hosts. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Our neighbors were so friendly- we still keep in touch! Like many other reviews, the location is close to the interstate and railroad-- but where along I-10 do you not get that noise? We're used to it. We have told all our friends to stop here and everyone should give it a try. We'll definitely be back!!!

Have you ever been "spit" at by a owner of a RV Park? We have and this is the one. Went to check it out. Drove pass the "fake police cars" to get a quick look at the park since we were never there before. Couldn't see anything till you drove in. Went to the second row and turned around to go to the office. Some "idiot" was standing at the police car and as we drove by he spit toward the car. We couldn't believe what happen. We were so mad we just kept on driving to the entrance to get out of the place. A second later we turned around and went back and yelled from the car "you just lost a customer". He's standing there motioning with his hand to get out. I think, that is what it was. From the looks of the almost empty park you would think he would have been happy to get customers. We have stop in Deming over the years but not at this park. Deming is a nice city. If you need a business license in Deming, the city should revoke his and shut him down. "Idiots" like him should not be in business. It will give the city a bad reputation.

We Stopped at this park on the way to Arizona this fall. This was our first time here. We couldn't believe the facilties. Just on the west side of Deming Exit 81. Beautiful Indoor Swimming Pool, Huge Shower Facility, And a Great Laundry Room. The whole park was beautifully landscaped, just like the review before this one stated. They also had free Wi-Fi, and their monthly rates looked great. Park Hosts and guests were all very friendly. Security was excellent being right off the interstate, nice and quiet with nothing to worry about. Tons of stuff to do in the area, We wish we would of had more time. Going to stop on the way back and spend some more time. We would highly recommend this park to all our friends.

This park is truly a resort atmosphere. The landscaping and facilities are beautiful. It is a florshing desert at 81 Palms. I have never seen so many unique cactus before. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We have never been to Deming before and gave us many suggestions on food locations and the must-see sites around the area. We wish we would have planned more time to be in the area. Next time, a month minimum for sure!

WOW! What a nice place in New Mexico. It is highly recommended to stop if you want a nice place where people are friendly. There are many interesting things to look at throughout the park.

We enjoyed the rec building. But did not enjoy the rude male owner. On the other hand his wife was as nice as could be.

The park is nice and clean. It is very well-kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had several questions about the local area and they were able to answer all of them! There are many things to do in the local area which made our winter fly by. It was worth our time and money. We are surely going to make the trip to Deming again. I am delighted to recommend this park.

We checked in for a week in May07...owners not very friendly but the lady who checked us in saidshe was mgr. but was owner's wife...signs all around park about not letting your dog pee on bush or tree (pine trees) or beside the dumpsters....owner has old sheriff's cars parked all around with dummie officers in them looking out at you all over park...they close the laundry at 9p.m sharp; our closes were still in dryer and we had to get them out while still wet as he was closing up THEN...we wouldn't go back; but had intended to stay long term....not a good place for full time rv'rs as these people really don't care if you stay or not...we are retired professionals in a new 36ft.motor home with one small dog...
