Another Day in Paradise!
By Cara Bissell, 11/21/08
I arrived here going on four months ago as a retired high school teacher from New York City. I've enjoyed the owners familial style with me and indeed all guests to this 21 acre, 15,000 sq. ft. club house complex! The "things to do" haven't begun to be tapped. As the camp host this past three plus months, I am perhaps a little opinionated. BUT I NOTICE THE GUESTS PERSONA TOO **AND** KNOW OUR DEDICATION TO MAKE GUESTS STAY ENJOYABLE IF NOT "MAGICAL".

Great port in a storm!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/18/06
We stayed at the DeAnza RV resort in March, 2006. It was pouring rain and cold when we arrived in an RV with our two kids - 12 & 14. We were warmly welcomed and thrilled to find that the heated pool (90 F) was actually in a covered, enclosed area and therefore, we were able to use it during the rainstorm! After a long drive from the Grand Canyon we all enjoyed the swim and hot tub. They also had shuffle board, pool table, pingpong, exercise room, tv lounge area and beautiful laundry facilities. We decided to stay a second night as the weather was cool and the pool was warm. We thoroughly enjoyed a visit to Tubac as recommended by the owners. The beauty of the mountains surrounding the RV park was great. The space allowance for each RV was limited but since the weather was cold we weren't outside or very aware of our neighbours. It was very close to the interstate, we would usually prefer to be further away, but the facilities more than made up for it and noise didn't seem to be an issue. The new owners have put a lot of work into this place and it really shows. Very clean. Very hospitable and eager to help.
