Convenient, cramped and bossy
By Milton, 12/25/09
The location is great. Close to everything, easy on and off. It's surrounded by homes, but still feels like a campground. The sites are very cramped. We barely were able to pull our 40' MH into the spot without tearing off the neighbor's awning. The Night Host was very friendly, but the lady in charge of the office could sure use some customer service training. She couldn't have been more rude if she tried, and I think she doesn't even realize it. The three ladies she was training seemed to be embarassed for her. Maybe they'll make for a friendlier reception staff. The wi-fi is ridiculous. Always up and down. They claim the neighbors are stealing service even though there is a code. The highy-advertised gym is a joke. A nature trail would be better. The dog run area is nice, with agility training equipment. Overall, I'd stay again, if I couldn't find anything better, but this is NOT A RESORT!

Management is rude
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/09
Overall the grounds are clean and nice. The mangement on the other hand is rude and unfriendly. I will not recommend this place to anyone. The office staff was friendly but the managers Dean and Quietta were rude and uncaring, very unprofessional and controlling.

don't get ripped off
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/05/09
It is not a resort as it was in the past and the rates are very high. Dont expect any customer service as in the past. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay for more than a week do not stay there. You will be disappointed. Someone pulled out all the folliage and its like a desert in there now.

wont return
By user, 12/01/08
The park is nice but the new management is in my opinion trying to avoid families and concetrate on retired couples. 1. There is no hot water at 2 out of the 3 bathouses, I was informed by a worker there that the management turned the hot water heaters all the way down and the only warmth comes from the pilot light. 2. There are signs now posted that state "no running, diving, or jumping" into the pool, I had to explain to a 4 yearold that he couldnt jump into the pull because a mamber of staff warned me that if the manager saw him do it she would "run us out of there". Thats right a 4 year old cant jump into 5 foot of water to his dad. 3. They have decided to use the sport court for employee parking of boats, cars, and trucks even though there is overflow parking in front and the park was less than half full. Its pretty bad to have kids playing in the petwalk area next to the court that is supposed to be there for them, abd it cant be sanitary. 4. If you stay longterm, you now have to pay for electricity. They have metered every longterm site. 5. There seemed to be no care for the customers needs from the front office when questioned about these things, so I have nothing nice to say about the customer service by the managers. Many workers spent their time while talking with me just complaining about the new managemant and how they take advantage and nickle and dime you in any way they can.

poor new management
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/07/08
The facility overall was good. The new management has a long way to go on people skills. I would not stay here again due to the way they handle the guests.

Don't care to stay here again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/07
When we arrived & got to our site, it was too small & we were informed they were full. We did however get moved to a larger spot. My advice to those who go to this campground need to be aware that their sites are picked by the computer. Also, if you are in a motorhome you get top priority, but for those of us who have a travel trailer or 5th wheel, good luck! Sites are very small & if you plan to pull out your slides, make sure you don't hit the slide next to you. In my opinion they are way overrated.

Great Place to Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/09/06
I have been very hapy with my stay at Admirality RV Resort. The people are very nice and extemely helpfull. The restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. The location is very convienent and very easy access for even the biggest RV's. A free shuttle to Sea World which saves alot of time and money. My only complaint would be the play area for the kids is very lacking, and basicly just a jungle gym with no swings or slides and a gravel base. The also have a very nice big pool, heated and perfect for morning laps.
