10 reviews for Lackland Village Rv Park, San Antonio
It was awful!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/17/09
Impossible to find and then found it and was sorry we did. Directions we were given were terrible. Showers and laundry were filthy. Water was unavailable several times (don't know why). Park is located next to a scary trailer park The convenience to Lackland AFB is the only good thing about it.

Will go back!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/14/08
We stayed at this park for about 8 months. We particularily likes the friendly helpful management and the security of having a private coded entry gate. We liked the fact that the park was small and the people there were friendly and it felt like a family atmosphere. We also are retired military and it was close to the base and also very close to shopping and other conviences yet the privacy of a park. We also appreciated the fact that both water & electric are included in the price. They also have WiFi internet service which is very much appreciated.

Fun Place
By Deborah Z, 12/07/06
I have stayed here several time and have enjoyed myself very much. I have found the employees to be very helpful and all is included. I have read some of the reviews and the only thing is, that I have enjoyed myself. Electric and water are included in the price. I will be staying there again when I come to San Antonio.

Wish we could have stayed longer!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/29/06
Lackland RV Park was clean and safe! The on-site management team were friendly and professional, and very knowledgeable about the area. A great spot for an overnight stay, or for snow-birds looking to nest for the winter!

Should have read reviews first
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/11/06
All we can say is we should have read all of the reviews first before staying at this park this last holiday weekend. This is a dirty park with no security, hard to find and harder to drive through.

They must have paid for good reviews....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/02/06
Park is very hard to get to. If you miss the entrance which is poorly marked, you will have to drive down to a very busy street to uturn back down the freeway, go through a cloverleaf on the freeway(very dangerous merging of traffic) and come back down the other side of the freeway. *about 2 miles* Trailer park next door is unsightly and occupants wander thru RV park at all hours. Sewer system kept overflowing in the back of the park causing a very bad smell at times. This is an ongoing problem we were told by several of the full timers at the park. Management is hard to get along with if you have any complaints or problems. Had if you don't like it, go somewhere else additude. Park is NOT designed for larger RV's, turns are tight and very poorly maintained driveway like roads in park. Lot of noise from construction next door and if Lackland Base is doing any type of training, lot of noise from it. Lot of noise from general area, freeway, neighborhood, gun shots. Not a park we would recommend to anyone. Unless you have no other choise. NOTE. Also saw that park had electric AND water meters for RV hookup charges.

Very good park for extended stays
Have lived at this RV park for sometime now as a full time RV'r. Have stayed at several other San Antonio RV parks off and on, and have found this one to be one of the best. They have full time onsite management and both of them are friendly and know the area. I don't worry about security as there is a auto gate that controls who gets into the area. The park has been here for a long time and has big shade trees and patios at each one of the spaces. I know that it is important that they have 30/50 amp hookups, cable tv, phone service, there are restrooms that are very clean. I may travel around the country, but consider this park my home. I would tell anyone who is a snow bird or just traveling though to stop and look at this park as it is really nice.
