Downhill slide?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/07/09
Used to be clean park, and even the dog runs were kept clean but now they are filthy and no one is picking up after their pets in the dog runs and sometimes even in the park itself. Also, if you speak to management about a problem, it is usually ignored. Owners are friendly and great. Too bad some pet owners neglect their responsibilities on clean up. ALso, the yards are not being well cared for or maybe this is just a recent problem. One person was told to do whatever they wanted. Some tenants turn their dogs loose early in the morning and they run everywhere. I guess their owners don't care if they get in the street and get hit by a car. Could be a nice park if the rules were applied to everyone correctly.

extremely bad management
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/11/08
this park has very poor management and staff problems. The owners are great and very friendly, but some of the staff are rude. Service was poor, and unprofessional at times. Lots of friendly people live at the park. Speed limits need to be enforced for golf carts and visitors as well. Management is very overbearing and at times distasteful in comments. Several full timers have left park in last several months because of management issues and more are in the process.

More than just a RV Park... a Homestead
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/08
I have not lived here but my parents do. Each time we go to visit they talk about living there as a delight. The managers are more than helpful and caring, they take an interest in the people that reside there. I have seen them deliever mail, knock on the door to see if everything is OK because we haven't been around. My parents feel like they have a family there in the park. I am greatful that my parents are comfortable, safe and happy live there.

okay park

We have been coming to this park for several years and even though it is clean and well taken care of, it does have some problems that need to be addressed. RULES SHOULD APPLY TO ALL WHO STAY THERE. 1. All pets should be on a leash, even those who work there. 2. If a quest of someone in the park cannot park their vehicle in front of the the person they are visiting's rv, then the people who stay here, should NOT hook their boats up, drive to another friends RV, park in front of it, go inside for 10-15 minutes while their rig is blocking the road. Since this happens several days a week, I assume the rules do not apply to them. 3. There are 2 women who hop into their golf cart each day and drive around the park to see "who are breaking the rules" and then report to the office manager. How shamefull!!! This is suppose to be a place to go to relax and enjoy your vacation, but instead you are always worried about who is watching and what did I do this time? Hopefully the owners of this park will address these matters and correct them.

Best Little RV Park in Texas
By Joanann, 01/02/06
This is a wonderful campground. A drive around the streets shows all cement pads, grass, lots of palm trees and friendly people. The laundry rooms and bathrooms are kept immaculate. The pride of ownership in this park is seen everywhere - and not just with the owners and staff, but with those who stay at this park. And if you are a fisherman (or fisherwoman) you will love the proxmitiy to the boat ramps. Lots of activities are planned for the "Winter Texans," as are lots of potlucks. The potlucks held leave you wanting more - pig roasts are held, shrimp scampi dinners, and redfish on the half shell are just a few of the tempting foods prepared and served. The staff are professional and friendly - always ready to help in anyway possible. Check this place out - once you do, you'll be like us and keep coming back every chance you get!
