Arctic Tern Inn, Anchorage

Large room with appliances - must have been an apartment at one time. Beds were in pretty bad shape. Surprisingly, the place was spotlessly clean. Bathroom was clean and OK. Location was awful (we heard gunfire at night). Location is handy for military personnel which we saw a lot of during our stay. Breakfast filled you up, but don't look for eggs or meat. Coffee, milk and pancakes. A very basic place. If you can't afford very much, this is OK, but barely. I stayed there with my family because there were absolutley no other accomodations in Anchorage at that time.
