Anaco Bay Inn, Anacortes

I read so many good reviews about this hotel after staying at the hotel I will tell you one thing those reviews were not true and were prolly written by the hotel owners. The rooms are quite big but the cleaniness is poor with shaggy carpet alot of dust on windows, furniture, and lamps. The blanket had hole in it and some sort of stains and stunk like a dog/abandoned house ( I would never let my family sleep on that so we put a blanket on the bed and used our own blanket and after use threw it away) I wont recomend this place to anyone not even for free. Some other hotels in Anacortes might be a little expensive but worth living in.

Great place. Cosy, clean, well appointed. A pleasure to arrive at a place and truely find it is all that the reviews, and the place itself, claimed to be. Would stay again and have already recommended to others. Good value.

I was just looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night before catching the early morning ferry. I was extremely pleased with my experience at Anaco Bay Inn. The person at the front was very pleasant and helpful. The lobby was cute, comfortable, and had reading material available. The room was very spacious, clean, and well-decorated. It didn't feel like the average hotel. There was a fireplace, a kitchenette, and two comfortable beds. This is the first place I have stayed that took the little extra step to have TV listings in the room. When I went for an evening walk, I found a great Thai restaurant right around the corner. Though the hotel was full, I never heard noises from other guests while in my room. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend the Anaco Bay Inn!

The rooms were very spacious, nicely furnished and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and had my keys available for me when notified that I would be arriving after office hours. Stayed there both going and coming from a vacation on Orcas Island.

We just stayed here for one night, and we chose it because it looked really nice and cozy from the outside with it's Europeon Feel. The Inn was very nice. Service was very good and friendly, the value was terrific, and the location was very convenient, right off of Commercial Street, and close to restaurants, pharmacies, a nice walk lane and the historic downtown of Anacortes. We also loved the little kitchenettes and gas fireplaces, as well as the other amenities outside of the room like the Jacuzzi, Laundry and of course, the many brochures and helpful information that the Inn had on Anacortes. The only issue we had was that the beds were a bit dirty and the towels had flecks of fibers on one of them. But other than that, the Anaco Bay Inn was great!

My three sisters and I rented one of the Villas. Management could not have been more helpful or more pleasant. When I asked whether non-fat milk was served at the continental breakfast, they said it wasn't, but upon check-in they notified me that my non-fat milk was "enroute" and it was delivered to my room. Our townhome was homey, had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the street was quiet. It was close to all antique shops and businesses on Commercial Avenue. Continental breakfast was available at 7:00 a.m. in a comfortable and cozy conference room. I loved this place and will make it an annual home away from home. Very affordable too!

I often stay in Anacortes because of my husband's job at the refinery and I decided to act as sort of a tour guide.
