Blue Spruce Motel, Tacoma

We are a construction company and had a number of our workers on an out of town project, I found this hotel online and man was that a mistacke. Construction workers don't generally complain about clenlieness, but on this one they did. They checked in, went to their room to lay down and found COCkROACHES IN THE BED so they walked straigh out!!!! Now the owner will not call me back and they will not refund our money!! Like I said DO NOT EVER FOR ANY REASON STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!

this place was dirty n nasty had roaches and mold all over doors didnt close right floor was nasty bed look like nothing but dirty and blood stains with rips and holes then windows are thin and old likes like nothing was done since the 1950's as in repairs. the city should just close this one down poeple at the desk are rude i will never stay there again. poeple just spend the 5 dollors more n go to the best inn for real

I stayed here not to long ago. Its under new management and i can tell. I dont see any drug dealeres or another things going on great family feeling. Peaceful and freindly. The people at the desk made me feel welcome and warm. when i told them about a problem in my room they fix it right away. the prices are great and the place is clean.

i stayed a year ago and the desk people were doing a great job. the place was cleaned up and friendly. i came back and expected the same experience, but was wrong. the lady at the desk was rude, it was now overpriced and i found ants and other unnamed critters. i will never go there again.

The room was clean and adequate for our use. We needed a place for a couple of nights that was cheap and clean. This room was both. The hotel is in the process of updating/remodeling. The owners are very friendly and seem to want to make the place nicer as time and money allows. This is not the Hilton, but if you want a place that is clean and inexpensive, than this is a nice and reasonable place to stay.

This place was good to stay at I'd say. If your looking for something fancy then go to a hotel. This place has what you need to stay. I came out of town and didn't have much money to play with and kind of randomly came into it. The lady as the desk was real nice about everything, even got into a conversation with her. They come by to clean the room in the mourning and pretty much let you be. It wasn't the best of things but it was well worth the $50 I spent for each night.

I stayed back in January of 2007 and it didn't look so good. I had to back in October due to loss of housing and the place did a major 180 turn around.
