Worst Hotel Experience I've Ever Had

Oh where to start!!! First I am not a hotel snob, give me a nice, clean room for only one night and I am happy. But this was not acceptable to anyone's standards. I was not happy that my credit card was billed weeks before out stay, I have stayed at many hotels and have never been charged for a room I have not stayed in yet. Check in time is 3pm, but our room was not ready until 5pm, we had to wait in a family members room and were 2 hours late for the memorial service reception we came for. We were told that if we didn't like it, we could go some place else, but since they had already charged our credit card, the rest of our famly was staying there and we were already late, we had no other choice.
Once we got into our room it was still dirty, the toilet was filthy, there was no hand towels or toilet paper, and spots on the floor had not even been vacuumed. We complained and the front desk clerk said he would clean the toilet. Not until we returned late into our room did we see that it was cleaned, but poorly.
The worst part really was the attitude of the employees, like they were put out that we complained, never really apologized and appeared too overwhelmed to handle simple tasks.
I would never stay here again, nor reommend it to anyone.
