Luke warm exprience

The room was an average size for a small town hotel. The shower was great, except it needed somewhere I could put my showering essentials besides the floor. The bed was comfortable, but considering there is not phone or way to ask for anything after 10pm maybe it would be a good idea to store a few extra blankets, pillows, and towels in one of the drawers or on the shelf in the room. The cable t.v wasn't all that great. Nickelodean came in only in black and white and fuzzy at that. We ended up grabbing the portable DVD player from the car and setting it up in the room for our son to watch movies on because the picture was so bad. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room which was a plus but they may want to look into getting the fishy smell out of it and to get it hooked up to a plug that does not cut off the power when you turn off the light buy the door. The food in the resturant was great. Service in the evening was outstanding the waitress was very helpful and got us our food very quickly, she made sure our son was entertained and had offered a cup with a lid before giving him water or any other drink. The morning service left alot to be desired thou maybe they were training the waitress we had but she didn't seem to quite understand how we want our order and she gave our son a cup without a lid which he soon spilled. The food was excellent, and the prices were moderately priced. It was a great stay it just had a few drawbacks just from things that are overlooked. I would go back next year but I'd make sure to get everything I needed before 8pm so that when 11pm rolled around I wasn't laying in bed thinking God I wish we had another blanket. It was worth what we spent but there are a couple things that could be fixed to make the stay exceptional.

Great place to stay while charter fishing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/03/06
We stayed while fishing last year. No phones in the rooms, but they were clean with new furnishings, comfortable beds! We'll stay again.
