We loved how homey the motel was. The staff was laid back and very friendly. I stayed at Judson's the night before the Sugarloaf Marathon, and I was well rested the night before. I didn't have to put up with any noise. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated. All in all, this was a terrific bargain that I'm not sure I would have found anywhere else.
This was a great place to stay! It was super afforable, clean, and the staff was friendly. My friend and I stayed there the night before the Sugarloaf marathon and had a great time there. The staff made sure we had everything that we needed and that we were comfortable. Our rooms came with a fridge & microwave, and my friend's came with a tv with cable. We just chilled out and relaxed in the room and had restful night's sleep, before the big day.
It is a great choice for people that are on a budge and want a nice, clean place to stay near Sugarloaf. We would definitely come back again!
Judson's is five miles from Sugarloaf and central to all outdoor recreational opportunities in the area. It is clean, comfortable and affordable to budget concious travellers like myself. The rooms have TV, a fridge & nice bath. The place is a landmark... check it out.
Judson's Sugarloaf Motel is probably the filthiest motel room I have ever stayed in. The bathroom and toilet had not been cleaned in what looked like months. The smell of cigarette smoke was all over the place, and the bed linens were at least 20 years old.
What started as just looking for an inexpensive room to take two kids to ski at Sugarloaf, ended in a nightmare. Around 3AM, loud partiers from the attached bar stormed into our room, even though it was locked from the inside. Obviously, we weren't the only ones to have keys to our room, and frankly, it scared the you know what out of us.
I would definately consider sleeping in your car before checking into this dump.
This is the place to stay on a budget or else go to the Stratton inn. Judsons is a bar w/ rooms for rent. Get your reservation early in the season or you're prolly outta luck here.Smoking is outside, but they have a sheltered room w/ a stove to keep warm. This is where the locals go to avoid being scalped and gouged by the resort prices for a drink.
This is realy a bar with rooms out back, but you can't beat the location and if your looking for a cheap place to stay after partying at Sugarloaf, it can't be beat!
Don't stay here if you're looking for luxury, or have small children...
