Hotel Stebbins, Algoma

We enjoyed the people at the bar before dinner, great steak & salad bar, very good service from very nice servers, thoroughly enjoyable, very impressed, clean, delightful atmosphere, can't wait to go back

My husband and I went for a weekend stay during the summer. The hotel is beautiful, warm & cozy, the staff is exceptional. The lounge and bar is a great place to relax and then too, the bartender had a very nice conversation with us, making us feel even more welcomed. Their menu is incredible and the food was excellent. We hated to have our weekend come to an end because the whole experience made us feel as though we were a million miles away from every care in the world but still we felt right at home.

Although we did not stay at the hotel we had dinner at the restaurant and the food was fabulous (the chef is one of the owners - Kristine). The service (Diane - server) was like a brown sparrow, always attending to her customers. We then decided to stay for more drinks and play pool in their game room ($1 per game, great price). The pool table was a year old but we would've guessed it was put in place the same day, great condition!!! The drinks were made so well we had our fair share, and the bartender is also an owner (Kendall), he was extemely nice, attentive and made the drinks fast and delicious. Saturday night the bar becomes a local hangout and every local we met was kind and fun, and don't be afraid if you see a few bikers with vests indicating a club - they're great and kind people, especially a blond named Autumn her friend Missy and Scott - Great People!!! This hotel is a must stay if visiting Algoma and Door County!!! We had such a great time we will be planning another holiday weekend soon and actually stay at the hotel. We can hope to beat Autumn and Missy at the next game of pool :))

very nice place to stay, big guy at the bar is very friendly. very nice setting, good food with friendly service. short drive to many attractions. great fishing..........................................................
