Awesome place to stay! .
I recently stayed at Mount Liberty and had a wonderful stay. The owners are really friendly and helpful; yet afford you your privacy as well. They were also very environmentally conscience, proving blue bins for recyclable plastic, glass and metals. The price was very reasonable for the accommodations, especially considering it was still high season. The cabin had everything a couple or family could want. It was clean & comfortable. Kitchenette, microwave, fridge, 2 burner stove top, coffee maker, toaster, plates & dishes (wash after use please, was their only request) and same for the pans. That's only travelers etiquette, anyway. This is no exaggeration. I stayed at two other lodging establishments while in New Hampshire; and both of them combined, had no where near the amenities that I had in that cabin! Sure, you might try some of the local restaurants, like I did. Yet, if you want to save a few bucks, the option is open to you. I went to Price Chopper, (where Darlene recommended), bought my groceries and had a few meals at the cabin. Excellent, easy to find location, too. (Route 3, right after Clark's Trained Bears, look to the right). The cabin interior had awesome rustic charm! Plenty of outlets to plug gadgets in. Spotlessly clean and well maintained to a fault. Linens and towels were freshly laundered. (Yes I do smell for things like that when I travel! grin) Host pride showed throughout the cabin and grounds. The quietude was stunning, especially in the evening. I live in a large city, and the silence except for the river, was music to my ears. I most certainly will be back. Absolutely recommended. Roses all around for Darlene and Tom. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
