Belle of Maine Vacation Village, Wells

Belle of Maine is perfect for a vaca! comfy, clean, relaxing and peaceful! what more could you ask for? Jimmy and his family are so awesome. minutes from the beach and the trolly stop at the entrance is SO convienent! i definitely recommend it! ive been going for 5 summers now and i'm going back this summer!

We always feel like home when we go to the Belle. Jimmy Skeats always obliges us with accommodations even if it's last minute. Within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the beach! Cottages are homey, clean and a nice view of the marsh. We've been going for 10 years and still look forward to it! A great value too,

I stayed two weeks last summer, 2007, had to stay because I know the original owner and just had to stay. Well I love it there, my room was beautiful, clean, quiet and relaxing, I actually was able to read two books while there along with visiting the beach and other points of interest. I was able to meet many nice people and I can't say enough about Jim and Mina and the boys, all were so friendly and easy to talk with. As I said before I can't wait to return this summer and am sure this has become a yearly vacation.

My husband, 11 yr daughter and I have been going to the Belle of ME for the past 5 years. The owners, Jimmy and Mina, their sons and staff are the friendliest, most welcoming and accommodating people you could meet. With a child we appreciate the safe, family-friendly centered environment, which the owners consistently provide. The cottage we rent is wonderful, especially with a totally screened in porch (floor also) that over looks the Rachel Carlson Wildlife Preserve and further down Wells Beach. It is a more low key location that works for us, as we can go out and do day trips and come back to a quiet pleasant community of friends we have made over the years. If this sounds like your type of place - I encourage you to go. You will be happy you did. Many couples of all ages without children find it very relaxing and enjoyable, returning yearly as well.

This is my second time to stay the Belle of Maine. They owners are wonderful...true servants. The cottage I stayed in was wonderful. Clean, cozy and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to everyone...singles or families. you will enjoy your stay. You will find the people of Wells very friendly and helpful.

Always very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We always think to try somewhere new to stay and then we always end up coming back because we know what to expect, and that in itself is comforting. The owners are friendly and very helpful, and the other guests are always very friendly, and nice to talk to. The Belle of Maine`s location is perfect for touring Kittery, York, wells, Kinneybunk Port, Portland, and Freeport. We love it here and will be back again this year.
