Washington Inn, Saratoga Springs

This is the best kind of Victorian Inn--old world charm matched to modern amenities. Great showers, good beds, wi-fi and, in all the rooms, I-docks! The grounds are beautiful, the staff super friendly and the place is so quiet you wouldn't know you were maybe a mile from downtown. There's a pretty good breakfast but no restaurant. Still, there are tons of those near-by and sipping champagne on a wrap-a-round porch is a great way to end the day. Prices are surprisingly reasonable even in racing season. I'm booking next year before anyone finds out about this treasure.
