Scottish Inns, Tonawanda

Apparently they took peoples reviews seriously! The hotel is emaculate!!! I honestly think I underpaid for my two day trip. I saw some other rooms, which were being cleaned, and they and they should probably be burned to the ground and they should try again! The "vegetable lady" is no longer there... I checked! But the vegetables she left behind are AMAZING! I've never seen a more ripe tomato grow out of carpeting and bathtub paint chips. I have been employed by the Ohio Buweiser plant for over 10 yrs and I know a good hotel when I see one! This is a value if i've ever seen one!

This was the worse place I have ever seen in my life. In some of my travels in the past, quite numerous, I have never experienced anything quite like it. This is a down graded version of the "Bates" motel. My wife and I were there for a total of 10 minutes and decided to leave. This hotel should be closed.

the service was terrible, they were very rude, not once did they clean the room or change the sheets in our three night stay, and they had to come fix the door the first night because the door would not shut. also one nite we came back to the room and the lights were off, when we had left them on that morning, the front desk said it was probably the maintenence people had turned them off because they didn't know anyone was there, good thing we didn't leave any of our personal belongings there during the day, because they also left the door slightly open after turning off our lights. the drain in the tub didn't work so i was in ankle deep water during my shower, there were stains on the floor, walls, and ceiling, and the carpet had not been vaccumed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

The location of the motel was prolly it's only true convenience. The bed smelled of something and we refused to sleep under the blankets. The walls had obvious patches in them and the tub was filthy. We didn't shower during our stay because we would have gotten dirtier. I should have paid the extra forty bucks and stayed at a best western. If you're hard up for cash and looking for a place.. I'd say save your money and sleep in the backseat of your car. Needs some serious remodeling. They had single plate glass windows in the front that were drafty and it took twenty minutes of fidling and jiggling of the key to get the door to open properly. I think that people live there full time.. the window a few doors down had jarred vegetables in the window.. unless it was someone using their draft as refrigeration. Their was a mattress outside our room by the parking lot and If I'd of seen a bug I would have demanded a refund. The rooms did not have a thermostat and were pretty cool all the time. Go some where else I'm telling you. Our room was suppose to have internet access which it did not.
